Question time

Sarah gave us some questions in the seminar, like I said I'm disoraganised, I answered them all on paper, so all I had to do was type them in for the blog, however yes, I lose the piece of paper. I have a notebook, I should have written them in there really! The thing is I either forget to bring my notebook, or I will lose it after writing in it! There is an option of leaving a notepad in my locker, however this would be dangerous because I would therefore be subconciously telling my mind to forget my locker key! It would definitely be tempting fate. Its a situation I'm just never going to be able to win! Anyway I'm waffling, here are the questions :

How is teaching different from learning?
(See this is where I struggle to answer things because I know what I mean, but that doesnt mean other people will!)
Teaching is giving knowledge and direction, someone who educates others
Learning is acquiring new knowledge, behaviors, skills, values, preferences or understanding.

How do they fit together?
They fit together because one relys on the other, which also answers the question; Why does one rely on the other? Because they each need the other to fulfill its meaning. Learning and teaching can be similar too in the way that as much as they both lean on eachother, they both need passion, or some kind of drive to want to teach or want to learn.

Why do you want to learn?
Learning is something I want because it means I will acquire the skills and practice I need to better myself, and eventually get to where I want to be. Learning is something that will happen all through your life, they say you learn something everyday don't they! Most of the time it is very unusual facts from my friends! Nothing of actual use!

How can you make the best of your university experience?
Well I am looking from two points of view with this one, I think going out, meeting people and making new friends is a massive part of it, but balancing that with putting all of my effort in! I wanted to do this course so i'm going to work hard, work to the best of my ability. If I am offered chances or oppurtunities i'm going to take them.
